Quick Question Regarding Gas & Hurricane Events
Ok so now gas is getting up to or exceeding 3 bones a gallon. They say it is attributed to hurrican Katrina and how it impacted oil rigs located in the Gulf of Mexico.
This is the way I see it. How much of the supply really comes from the gulf, on a percentage of all oil imports and domestics? I am guessing that its not much on the whole grand scheme of things.
Now you have a pretty good size region that is probably using much less fuel, right? How many would-be motorists, corporations, industrial complexes, etc are being underutilized down in da bayou?
The system defies a bit of common sense, dontcha think?
